Post 42

 I'm still working on The Elemental Detective novella. Pushed out the deadline a bit. Stuff is still percolating and the characters are still being cagey. As I said my muse just dropped this TED Drabble and a few incomplete scenes, then left. So the characters are all I got to go on with right now and as I said--cagey.  Maybe they're afraid I'll leave too if they tell me everything. Hmm. 

I've been haunting book groups and pimping this series. I should also be pimping my other books as well especially the Ghostwolf series since Book 2 is coming out this month but I've been focused on EV since there's been movement on it. However was that movement organic or the result of my pimping that first (dozen)time?  And now I'm obsessed with pimping EV.

And I haven't made any new Amazon ads this last week. 

I tell myself pimping on FB is marketing. But I know I need to do more than that to get noticed. And Ads are forever--or at least as long as I renew them. Ads work 24/7 and don't get buried by other posts. I'm resoluting to do them even though I don't do resolutions themselves. 

Next book up in my writing queue is Book 4 (wind whisperer)of Elemental Voice.

This is the blog for my elemental books. These books will all be variants on elemental magic.

The original series is an Urban Fantasy called Elemental Voice. It is set in a world where psychics consult regularly with the police and vampires live next door. The FMC Sara reads the earth like a medium hears the dead and finds dead bodies for the police.

The first book is called Earth Reader. Fire Walker (book2) and Water Ferrier (book3) are out. Number 4 (Wind Whisperer) is in the works. There is to be five books in this series. I may branch out to more books with these characters, but whether I will put them in the EV series or start a new series I don't know yet. 

These older books are in what I call 'movie style' or pulp. Fast paced and action oriented with little description and a lot of dialog. They are also my first books, full of my inexperience but also full of my creativity. I have left them as is. Sentimentality. The rest of the books will be in the same style.

There is also a 'companion' series to EV. Right now I have the ideas for just three books, but with my muse being so fickle who knows if more may come.

Both Deadly Sands and Deadly Flames are out. Book 3 of the trilogy is in the queue. These books go into the relationship a bit more and are set around vacations that turn into busman's holidays. Can her vampire FBI agent boyfriend keep her safe when death joins them on holiday?

I will be adding more books as they come up in the queue.  Some will be standalones and others will be series standalones.
