I don't do resolutions as they usually don't last past the month. However I do make short-term goals for my writing. This year I'm going to be concentrating on Kindle Vella.
That doesn't mean I won't be writing my books in the queue. Just that I'll be putting more attention on my Vellas. I want to try to make a living wage out of this platform with my books as added gravy. You can publish the Vellas once they're finished which seems good way to write some of my books, earning both ways.
There are still 19 chapters of Bone Whisperer WIP, A Playground of Bones, on Kindle Vella because my muse is being fickle. And I haven't updated any of the other Vellas either. I need a sit down with my muse and get crap done. Kindle Vella authors get bonuses for various things. November bonus was less than October's cause I had less reads. I've been playing the promos in the vella groups. We'll see how it goes for December as I had more reads than either November or October. They really don't tell you the criteria for the bonuses, though it does have something to do with the reads.

I may fall behind in my writing queue since I'm now doing Vella but I'm going to try to publish at least one book this year by June, maybe more. I wanted to try and pub BW last month but that didn't happen. Maybe this month? We shall see. And maybe next it will be Emergent published next since I'm doing it in Vella. Or maybe Book 3 of the Elemental Voice companion series. Or Book 5 of EV. I really don't know right now.
I'm still doing a contest for Book 5 of Elemental Voice Spirit Talker. I am looking for names of certain characters. The book is in the 'planning' stage, meaning I'm writing the book bible right now and thus doing character names and place names for the book. I need names for the Orro Clan matriarch, her PA, her security chief, and the secondary villain as well as a morally grey assassin. Most of them are vampires except for the secondary villain.
Should your name(s) be picked, the name of course will be used and you will be mentioned in the author notes. You may also win a signed book or signed bookplate.

My T.L. books are out on Ingram Spark now. Several AMZ accounts have been closed due to piracy and I don't want mine to be one. That way all my eggs are not in one basket, incase the basket gets snatched(terminated)

As of right now there are two novellas, a 'companion' series to EV, Deadly Sands and Deadly Flames. Right now I have the ideas for just three novellas, two of which are published as stated, but with my muse being so fickle who knows if more may come. The third novella is started but it is way down the queue right now. Book 5 of EV is slated to at least be started next year though.

They are set in a world where psychics consult regularly with the police and vampires live next door. The FMC Sara reads the earth like a medium hears the dead and finds dead bodies for the local sheriff's office in the first book then works with her vampire FBI agent fiance in the later books. There is to be five books in this series. I may come back to this world and do a new series. Depends on my muse and time. I have soo many books in my writing queue.

These older books are in what I call 'movie style' or pulp. Fast paced and action oriented with little description and a lot of dialog. They are also my first books, full of my inexperience but also full of my creativity. I have left them as is. Sentimentality. The rest of the books will be in the same style.
I'll try to update periodically. But this blog may get dusty. And repetitive.
