 I have 7 older books under the name Tina Riffey. They are written in what I call 'movie style', fast-paced and action oriented. The books are set in an alternate reality where psychics consult regularly with the police and vampires live next door. I guess you would call them Urban Fantasy. There is a bit of romance and sex with a vampire so blood is involved. If blood and talk of gory deaths gross you out, don't read these books.

I have 3 books out under T/L. Riffey. They are written in different styles. Resurgent is a sci-fi about turning points, The Last Dragon Kin is a dragon fantasy about destiny, and Raven Manor is an Urban Fantasy with a different take on werewolves. All of them have strong women who follow their own rules. Sometimes that makes them the hero but sometimes it puts them at odds with what others consider 'right'.

Post 13

 Villains.

Mine are female. 

The first book had two female villains going after the same thing. Both obsessed with Raven Manor but for different reasons. One to claim a legacy, the other to claim power. Neither got what they wanted.

Obsession is again the reason for the killing in book 2. The killer seeks to resolve old debts she believes are owed her clan/her family. But in her zeal she crosses the wrong beings. Some things are best not disturbed.

Post 12

 Ten Chapters in and the protagonists are finally physically meeting the main villain of this book. Her mug shot does not do her justice. The blood just enhances her looks.

Didn't make much progress this week. Been playing around on Canva.com with the cover and changing up the title. 

I had three book ideas for this series right off the bat. That doesn't mean I won't have more. But those three are what I have planned for. Then I'll do one of the other series books.

 Still making only slow progress on Blood. 

Being a pantser can be a pain sometimes when an idea stews in the back of your mind and only drops bits here and there as you write. Other times I can just flow along and get things done. If it lays right it will be good.

Spoiler of a sort. 

My killers tend to be female. Males seem to get top billing when it comes to being killers but females can be just as deadly and psychotic, though women usually have a reason.  If that is a trigger for you or if you think women should be soft and cuddly then my books are not for you.  At least not my Ghostwolf books.

Resurgent  has a strong female protagonist and the appropriate hostile male villain.
