Post 25

The Dragon's Keeper should be out by the middle of December, just in time for Christmas. I'm just awaiting the print proof.

Update 12/1/21: Dragon's Keeper ebook is out and softcover is in review.

Update 12/2/21: Softcover is out.

Check my new novella/novelette out. Link: Dragon's Keeper

I messed around with my blogs as this one attests to. Redid things and updated a bit. Wanted to do this before the new year so they start out new. I had thought about doing so a few times but never got the ambition up to do it before now. Procrastinating on writing can be a good thing. :)

Also added two entries on Novel Reads, my blog reviewing my TBR list books that I've read and some oldies that I've re-read. I read many genres--Mystery(paranormal and cozy), Fantasy, Sci-fi, and Urban Fantasy. Check the blog out you may find a new author. Novel Reads

As I've said I have a huge TBR list and when I'm not writing I'm reading.

Now on to the regularly scheduled post:

I have an Urban Fantasy series called Elemental Voice. It is set in a world where psychics consult regularly with the police and vampires live next door. Sara reads the earth like a medium hears the dead.

These older books are in what I call 'movie style' or pulp. Fast paced and action oriented with little description and a lot of dialog. They are also my first books, full of my inexperience but also full of my creativity. I have left them as is. Sentimentality.

The first one is called Earth Reader. Targeted by a vicious killer, can the sexy vampire FBI agent keep her from being put in the ground permanently?

Fire Walker and Water Ferrier are out. Number 4 is in the works.

There is also a companion series to EV. Deadly Sands is out and Deadly Flames will be soon. They go into the relationship a bit more and are set around vacations, that turn into busman's holidays. Can her vampire FBI agent boyfriend keep her safe when death joins them on holiday?

Mortal Voice is an Urban Fantasy set in the contemporary world circa 2018. So, sorry no vampires here, lol. But Jaci does have the same 'gift'.

MV is the first book in a series of its own. She sees secrets in the Earth. Will she find the evidence in time or is she destined for a grave herself?

I have some books out under the brand T. L. Riffey as well.

These books have different styles. I've learned a bit and trying out new things.

The first is a Fallborn Book or dragon fantasy called The Last Dragon Kin. He's the last dragon. Can Beka keep him out of the king's hands or are they both destined to die?

More of these dragon books are in the works. The Dragon's Keeper is coming out soon and the next book is in the queue.

The second is a Sci-fi called Resurgent about turning points in both a person and a society. A galactic death cult plans to take over her adopted planet. But she's determined it won't be the next sacrifice in their deadly game.

The next book after Resurgent in the Time-Lost series is started.

Raven Manor is the first book in an Urban Fantasy/ murder mystery series called Ghostwolf. It is a bit different, it has a unique take on werewolves. The book is set in the contemporary world but without the pandemic. I figured the werewolves were enough, :) Though they're hidden and not out.

Detective Hanlan didn't believe in fairytales until one tried to kill him. Will he be able to handle this deadly new world or will he become a story himself?

I am working on Book 2 right now.

Post 24

Redid the cover for Resurgent. To make it more 'to market'. Haven't sold a one of it for months. I also did Amazon Ads for it. Once the cover is up maybe I'll at least get clicks. I've had verbal compliments on it but only one written review.

It is so hard to get reviews. If I read a book with only a few reviews I add at least a rating depending on how much I liked it and time. I prefer reviews over ratings both for my own books and for others, but I understand time crunches. And I know how hard it is to get reviews. So if there are only a few, I add to them. The author deserves the support.

Got my books lined up to work on this Winter. Cold weather equals serious writing time. Not a lot of outside work and early nights. The next Fallborn book, Book 2 of Ghostwolf, and the two short reads are up right now. Then the next Time-Lost book, Book 3 of Ghostwolf, and the first in the Song Saga. I have soooo many stories competing for my time.

Got a lot of books on my TBR list as well.

If I'm not writing I'll be reading!
